1. TasteWant Services
TasteWant Services includes the TasteWant website (www.TasteWant.com) and account and payment Services which provide the capability to purchase and manage ongoing subscriptions from the Vendors that we work with. You agree that TasteWant has no responsibility for the accuracy of the products and services offered by the Vendors that sell their products or services on TasteWant.
2. Your usage of TasteWant Services
As a consumer, by using TasteWant Services, you agree that you will only use them for your own personal and non-commercial use.
3. Your TasteWant Account
Certain TasteWant Services are only available when you register and set up a TasteWant Account using your name and a unique email address and password. By registering and setting up a TasteWant Account, you certify that you are not using anyone else’s name, email address or password. You agree to provide and maintain true, accurate, current and complete information in your Account at all times, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account, and you accept responsibility for the activities that occur under your Account, including the selection and purchase of subscription boxes and use of TasteWant Services. If you have any reason to believe that there has been any unauthorised access to your Account at any time, please change your password as soon as possible, you can also contact hello@TasteWant.com of you have any questions or concerns.
4. Your Contract
TasteWant acts as a sales agent and payment processor for the Vendors that are listed on our platform TasteWant. TasteWant does not create any of the products or service or arrange their delivery. The companies on the TasteWant platform are responsible for sourcing the products and services and their delivery to you. By submitting an order to purchase, you are making an offer to order or subscribe to the Vendor offering their products or services on the TasteWant platform. Your Contract will be with TasteWant, but no contractual obligations will arise until your offer to buy or subscribe is confirmed to you by TasteWant.
5. Product contents and services
As a sales agent and payment processor for the Vendors TasteWant works with, TasteWant has no control over the quality or accuracy of the products or services advertised on the TasteWant platform, this is the responsibility of the Vendor you purchase the products or services from. TasteWant will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by your use of them. You are solely responsible for understanding any specific terms and conditions of each Vendor using the TasteWant platform and any disagreements or legal disputes you will have to make directly to the Vendor themselves and TasteWant will not be liable in any of these disputes.
6. Prices and taxes
Prices quoted include taxes (where applicable) and are set by the Vendors we work with not by TasteWant. If you purchase a subscription from a specific country, you are confirming that you live and pay tax in that country.
7. Auto-renew subscriptions
When you purchase a subscription, your chosen subscription term will automatically renew unless you actively cancel the auto-renewal at least 24 hours before it is due to renew. If you paid the full rate when first purchasing a subscription, you will be charged at the same rate upon renewal. If you paid a discounted rate when first purchasing a subscription, you will be charged the full subscription rate upon renewal. In both cases, the renewal subscription term will be as per your initial purchase.

TasteWant accepts payment by debit card, credit card, PayPal and Direct Debit. For debit and credit card payment processing, TasteWant. Any credit or debit card information you provide is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology ensuring your credit or debit card details are safe and secure, and processing meets the requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) which was created to ensure that organisations that process card payments prevent fraud. PayPal payments are processed securely through PayPal according to the User Agreement you have with PayPal. For Direct Debit payment processing.

Refunds can not be issued for any active subscription or subscription period, but if you turn off any auto-renewing subscriptions at least 24 hours before they are due to renew, this will stop any further payments being taken. Where there has been a specific issue with damaged items or non-delivery, refund requests may be considered by TasteWant and an administration fee may be applied in cases where they are approved.
12. Discounts, voucher codes and other offers
From time to time TasteWant or the Vendors we work with may offer discounts, voucher codes and other offers. All such offers will be time limited, cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion and can only be used at the time of purchase and not retrospectively. In some cases you may be required to enter a specific code or tick a specific box to be entitled to the discount or offer. There maybe additional terms and conditions that you will have to abide by, which will be published.
13. Restricted items (for example alcohol)
Certain products or services advertised on TasteWant will requiring proof of age, such as alcohol or other restricted items, and these can only be ordered if you are 18 or over. Before purchasing these through TasteWant, you must certify that you are 18 or over, and TasteWant reserves the right to check evidence of age before approval is given for the subscription box to be delivered to you by the Vendors we work with and TasteWant will take no responsibility or take no liability if you have submitted false information.
Whilst every effort is taken to ensure that the information on TasteWant is accurate, product and service descriptions and prices provided by the Vendors we work with may differ and TasteWant will take no responsibility or liability for this, this is the responsibility of the Vendors that list their products or services on TasteWant, this includes the illustrative purposes of their products or services.
15. Intellectual property
All content included on TasteWant and provided as part of the TasteWant Services such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, as well as the compilation thereof, and all software and applications used, is the property of TasteWant. You agree to abide by all copyright notices, legends or other restrictions contained in any such content and will not make any changes thereto. Each Vendor we work with owns the intellectual property of any products or services advertised on the TasteWant platform.
Reference to, or inclusion of, any of the 3rd party products or service TasteWant promotes does not constitute endorsement or the quality of the products or services the Vendors offer or other products or services TasteWant promotes.
17. Modifications to TasteWant Services
TasteWant reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the TasteWant Services (or any part thereof) with or without notice at any time. TasteWant shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the TasteWant Services.
20. Termination by TasteWant
TasteWant may, at its sole discretion and without liability, terminate your Contract or TasteWant Account or use of TasteWant Services for any reason, including, without limitation, if TasteWant believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of these Terms and Conditions. In this situation, any termination may be effected without prior notice, and TasteWant may immediately deactivate or delete your Account and all related information and/or restrict any further access to TasteWant Services and will not issue refunds for any remaining portions of any subscriptions which have not been serviced.
21. Notification of changes to Terms and Conditions
From time to time, these Terms and Conditions may be changed to keep them up to date with either new or current products or services or appropriate legislation. If TasteWant makes any material changes, you will be sent a service email notification describing such changes and in these circumstances if you do not wish to accept the changed Terms and Conditions, you may immediately cancel the auto-renewal of any TasteWant subscription or terminate your TasteWant Account. However any access or use of any TasteWant Services subsequent to such an update or email notification will signify your assent to be bound by such changes.
22. English law
English law shall govern your use of TasteWant and TasteWant Services.
23. International users and usage
TasteWant and TasteWant Services are controlled, operated and administered by within the United Kingdom. If you access any TasteWant Services from a location outside the United Kingdom, you are responsible for compliance with any appropriate local laws that may apply.

How do we keep your data safe and secure?
The security of your personal data is important to us here at TasteWant. When you enter sensitive information such as a debit/credit card number on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information, using payment gateways such as Stripe. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal data submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. When you give your personal data to TasteWant we will process that data in accordance with our responsibilities.
Any outside suppliers are under strict contractual terms to mirror the security policies that we currently have in place.

Primarily we use your information at TasteWant in order to provide you with the service(s) or product(s) you have selected and purchased.

- To facilitate the service of a physical product, for example providing appropriate details to the Vendor in order for them to process and deliver your product(s)
- We may transfer your personal data to a Vendor based outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where we do so we take the necessary steps to ensure your personal data is treated securely and has appropriate contractual arrangements in place.
- Where we need to do so in order to provide a service you have requested. For example online transactions with us are secured using the SSL encryption method and hosted with our third party payment Stripe. This is to provide immense security and protection to our customers
- We may use certain third party services to verify your identity in certain circumstances, such as that your postcode is valid for delivery, age for age restricted products (such as alcohol) and company checks
- It may be necessary to share information with certain third parties, such as the ABC or BPA, for audit and accreditation purposes, to confirm that sales have taken place
- If disclosure is required or permitted by law. We will always ensure that those requesting the information have the legal right to do so
If another company should
purchase TasteWant or any of our assets, including our database, that company
will have the right of possession of the personal data collected by us and will
assume the rights and obligations formerly attributable to us.

You have the right to be provided with the data that we hold for you. This is known as a ‘Subject Access Request’.

Delete Data/Right to erasure and Account Closure – you can ask us to erase or delete all of your personal data and record with us. If at any time you would like to close and delete an account please contact us on hello@TasteWant.com and we will do so. Your personal data will be removed from our active user database and will be deleted assuming that you are current with all payment obligations, that TasteWant does not believe it reasonably necessary to keep such information for any pending legal action, and that we are under no other legal obligation to retain such information. Please be aware that any unfulfilled subscriptions may be cancelled without refund, you will have to re-register in order to use the respective Service again, and any existing purchases will be forfeited. It is your responsibility to request a refund from the appropriate Vendor(s) please contact us if you require further information on how to do this.
